Joke: The reason these five words are important is because you’ll come in with a world or character and you’ll say, “Oh! I have this fantastic idea!” and the very first question coming out of my mouth will be, “Is this a Self-contained or an Arced show?” and the second question will be, “Format or Docu?” and if you do not know the answers to that, I’ll know that you do not have a show concept.
